They raced their cars against the young Jack Brabham. In 1960 he was invited to join the Brabham garage in UK and started designing the MRD Formula Junior car. Brabham continued to build on its initial success in the 1967 season with the proven BT19 & 20 models staring the season and the new BT24 taking over.
