Only one more podium, a 2nd for Alesi at the Nurburgring, would follow in the remaining 7 races. The drivers for the season were Jean Alesi, in his 5th consecutive year with the team, and Gerhard Berger in his 6th in total, including his earlier tenure from 1987-89.
