2014 marked the debut year in car racing for the 16-year-old Max Verstappen, competing in the prestigious FIA Formula 3 European Championship. Driving for Van Amersfoort Racing, Max followed in his father Jos’s footsteps by joining the same Dutch outfit. He wasted no time making his mark, claiming his first podium at Silverstone and a victory at Hockenheim within his first few races.
