IAN APPLEYARD with his wife Pat (daughter of Sir William Lyons) make up a formidable rally team with their Jaguar. The very famous white one with which lan won 3 Coupes des Alpes and consequently the coveted Coupe d'Or is now retired but the Appleyards happily are not retired as a quick glance at the major rally results list will show.
