Aston DBR1 and Ferrari Testa Rossa - two of the most evocative names from sports car racing in the 1950s. These fabulous cars were driven by heroes such as Stirling Moss, Mike Hawthorn, Peter Collins, Roy Salvadori and Carroll Shelby at circuits such as the Nurburgring, Le Mans, the Targa Florio and of course Goodwood. The years 1957-59 produced some epic battles between DBR1s and Testa Rossas and this book covers them in detail with reminiscences from people who took part as well as a wealth of previously unpublished photographs.
